New Companies Act, 2008 effective from 01 May 2011
Notice from Cipro website:"Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies signed and approved the Companies Regulations, 2011 and they will come into force on 1 May 2011. The President, Mr Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma signed into law the Companies Amendment Act, 2011. The President also signed and approved the Proclamation and President's Minute that put into legal force the Companies Act 2008 on 1 May 2011. The expected publication date in the Government Gazette is 26 April 2011. "
After much speculation, the new Companies Act has finally been signed off and will be implemented from 1 May 2011. GreatSoft have created a new forms module for e-Sec and already developed and conducted testing on the New draft Forms. We are in the process of applying the relevant changes to update the forms to comply with the final released versions.
The new forms module will be released to our test sites on 3 May 2011 and will be available for general release for e-Sec Version 7 sites only from 9 May 2011.
