eTax Announcement IRP6 2010 P2


IMPORTANT CHANGES TO SECOND PROVISIONAL TAX

SARS have sent out a notice that the IRP6 for February 2010 P2 will be changing.  At this time, the following key changes are proposed:
  • Re-introduction of the values for the SARS Estimates (column A)
  • Amendment to the Note appearing above the taxpayer signature on Page1
  • Note Paragraph removed: "The amendment is likely to be promulgated in January 2009. As a transitional measure, SARS will waive the additional tax on estimates due on or before the end of February 2009 if they are equal to at least the basic amount or 90% of taxable income for 2009."
These changes have not yet been finalised by SARS. We will notify you as soon as the changes are approved and avaiable for download from our web site.

The changes will be applied to the IRP6 in e-Tax versions: Rel 5.10m01 and Rel 7.03m01.

Once available, the latest releases can be downloaded from our ftp site http://ftp.greatsoft.co.za. Please note that you will need to be registered as a user first before you can access this site. To register as a user you can go to the same site and follow the instructions given there. Should you require a CD version of the software please contact the response centre with your shipping details and this will be mailed to you.

Congratulations to Bryan Morgan

Congratulations to Bryan Morgan for a successful motor racing season in 2009.

Bryan achieved 4th place in the South African National Polo cup championshipfor the year.

He will be competing in thepolo cup championship with team Timken againduring the 2010 season, and we wish him luck as he attempts to finally take home the crown for this highly competitive class.

Corporate Governance Conference 2009
